NYCU 3rd Anniversary -“Carnival Costume Parade” ~ Open for Registration Now
The theme of NYCU 3rd anniversary celebration is “Surpass.” One of the celebratory activities is the “Carnival Costume Parade,” which aims to create a joyful vibe. All faculty, staffs, students, and alumnus are welcome to participate.
- Date and time of the parade: Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:30 pm (1 hour estimated)
- Route of the parade: (Guangfu Campus) Auditorium → the square in front of the Engineering Building 3 → the square in front of the Library and Information Center → the square in front of the Engineering Building 3
- Registration starts from November 2nd (Thursday) to December 4th (Monday), 2023. Only 20 teams are acceptable, please register ASAP.
- Prizes and Subsidies
- At the end of the parade, teams (one each) with the best style, most creativity, and best team will be selected through votes. Each winning team will receive a prize of NT$20,000. After the voting results are announced, the organizer may, at their discretion, present a President’s Special Award to 1 to 3 teams, with each team receiving a prize of NT$10,000. All members of the winning teams should come up on stage to receive the awards.
- The organizer subsidizes a maximum of NT$15,000 for each team’s costumes (reimbursed based on the actual costs substantiated with a receipt). In addition, each member of the team will receive a voucher of NT$150, which can be used for food purchases at the food trucks on the day of the event.
